The Big Inspiration

Art and Science at Kendal Museum

20th March - 26th April 2008

This exciting event was a collaboration between Green Door artists and Kendal Museum and explored the links between art and science.

Each participating artist chose an object from the museum collections, ranging from Egyptian Shabti figures to a stuffed bittern.

Their chosen object was then used as the inspiration for their work.

Shops throughout Kendal displayed the resulting artworks and created a trail to an exhibition at the Museum Gallery.
